Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Purpose
1.1. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of the simdrop SMS receiving infrastructure and related services (the “Service”).
1.2. The AUP promotes lawful, ethical, and sustainable use of the Service for development, testing (QA), integration, and sanctioned business workflows involving inbound SMS — without harming third parties, circumventing third-party policies, or breaking applicable law.
1.3. The AUP is an integral part of the Terms of Use. Violating the AUP is a breach of the agreement with the Operator.
2. Prohibited use
2.1. You must not use the Service:
- for fraud of any kind;
- for spam, phishing, social engineering, harassment, or dishonest enrichment;
- to violate a third-party service's terms or policies (including marketplace, app store, messenger, banking, or payment platforms);
- to circumvent platform restrictions: sanctions, geographic or age gates, account suspensions/blocks, single-account policies, CAPTCHAs, or third-party rate limits if the intent is to evade that policy;
- for bulk account registration on third-party platforms contrary to their rules or to dodge limits;
- to cloak unlawful activity under a false veil of anonymity from the Operator or third parties;
- for abusive security research without written authorization, denial-of-service, or automation exceeding allowed API quotas.
2.2. Prohibitions apply regardless of whether the Service could technically initiate an operation. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the underlying purpose.
3. Acceptable use guidance
3.1. Legitimate examples include:
- software engineering, QA, and acceptance testing;
- verification of OTP/SMS integrations;
- permitted commercial use compliant with governing law and the destination platform’s rules.
3.2. Each use must align with contracts and policies governing the receiving platform. Where a platform forbids disposable/virtual numbers or the chosen verification modality, do not route that traffic through this Service.
4. Technical limits
4.1. The Operator may apply rate limiting, API quotas, country or service-category filters, step-up verification, and other safeguards.
4.2. Bypassing safeguards on the Operator’s infrastructure is prohibited.
5. User obligations
5.1. You shall respond promptly and truthfully when the Operator requests information about legitimacy of use.
5.2. You shall not advertise the Service in a misleading manner (including claims about “complete anonymity” or intent to circumvent platform rules).
6. Enforcement
6.1. Violations may trigger remedies described in the Terms of Use and Abuse Policy — including termination, suspension, transaction controls, cooperation with processors, or lawful authority engagement.
6.2. Abuse reports and support: Telegram — @simdrop_support.
